Built by insiders with 30+ years across the buyer’s desk and the factory floor.
VIA INDIGOS is a US contract manufacturing company in Cincinnati, Ohio, running custom part programs across audited factories in India: castings, forgings, CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and rubber. The company was built by people who have carried the customer commitment from the buyer side and dealt with the physical realities of tooling, production, quality, and dispatch on Indian manufacturing floors.
We built this company around the 3 pain points we had already lived.
The PO committed week 8. The parts reached the dock in week 13. And every weekly purchase order report in between said on track.
The weekly status said IN PRODUCTION for 3 straight weeks. The furnace was down for 2 of them. Visibility is hearing that the same day it happens, while the fix is still cheap.
The plant that ran your 5,000 piece trial has 2 machines and a full order book. At 40,000 pieces your program competes with their best customer for the same spindle hours.

Every VIA INDIGOS program is built against these 3.
WHY VIA INDIGOS EXISTS
2 sides of 1 supply chain. And no link between them.
Knows the part. Wants India. Loses months searching, vetting, and digging, with no clear way in.
Proven floors, ready to export west. No route to the buyer, and no one to open it.
THE COST OF FINDING OUT LATE
FILED UNDER · PAIN POINT 01 + 02An 8 week order can become a 13 week delivery before anyone calls it late.
You quoted your customer off week 8. The parts landed in week 13. This is the file nobody sends you, and every VP of supply chain ends up building at midnight.

That was the delay, and the cost of the delay, on 1 PO. Every $ of it was catchable in week 2, and catching it there is exactly what VIA INDIGOS is built to do.

BUYER’S DESK + FACTORY FLOOR
Buyers lose 60% of their week chasing updates. For 13 years, I was one of them.
I sat on the buyer’s side explaining delivery problems that had started weeks earlier somewhere else in the order.
The pattern was rarely one dramatic failure. A material release moved by a few days. A tooling correction remained open without a dated close. Inspection found rework after the freight plan had already tightened. The buyer received an update, but by then the lower cost options were gone.
After 13 years of running programs across 6+ industries, the US government recognized me with an Extraordinary Ability designation for my work in global supply chain and logistics. The work was later featured in The New York Times and Indian national press.
In 2024 we founded VIA INDIGOS so those early signals stay connected to the customer date, landed cost, and capacity plan while there is still time to act. The US side understands the commitment. The India operations team stays close to the physical work. Neither side is expected to operate with half the story.
Every late order announces itself early. The difference is whether somebody is close enough to connect the warning to the consequence.
THE NAME IS THE PLAN
LATIN FOR ROAD
The company is named after the job: 1 managed route carrying your order from the plant floor in India to your dock in the US.
THE BLUE OF INDIA
The sky your air freight crosses and the sea your containers sail. Every order travels 1 of these 2 blues, and you see where it is the whole way.

The US side sees the forecast, customer date, landed cost, and inventory pressure. The India operations team works with the facility on drawings, tooling, production, inspection, packing, and dispatch. The handoff is designed into the program rather than hidden between separate teams.

A buyer should not have to trust a broad promise. The proof sits in process reviews, tooling records, material certificates, inspection results, production dates, and the people physically close enough to see when the plan begins to move.
THE NETWORK
FILED UNDER · PAIN POINT 03 · SCALABILITYScaling through one supplier is a nightmare. So we built a network of 470+
Your volume can grow 8x overnight. One plant cannot absorb that. A 470+ network can.
Audited partner facilities across 22+ manufacturing cities in India, with backup plants qualified before you ever need them, and raw material secured early, so a mill’s schedule never becomes yours. IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and AS9100D certified floors run inside the network. The city by city view lives on our capability pages.

OUR MISSION
Building the fastest, most transparent global manufacturing ecosystem.
The questions buyers ask us on the first call.
Every answer below is the same one you would hear on the phone. If yours is not here, ask it directly.
Send us one drawing with your target annual volume, and that's genuinely all we need to get moving. Within a business day an engineer has read it and tells you straight whether it works, and if it only works with changes, we mark those changes on your drawing so you can see exactly what we mean. The full quote with landed cost usually lands within five business days. From there you decide, and if you'd rather talk it through first, book a call and bring the drawing along.
For most castings, forgings, and molded parts, plan on 6 to 10 weeks from tooling PO to first article, and we witness the trials in person rather than waiting for forwarded photos. Simple fixtures for machined parts run much faster, often 2 to 3 weeks. Every tooling quote we send carries its own timeline with T0, T1, and T2 gates and named dates, so you're never guessing which week the tool is actually in.
Our own team stands on the partner floor at the moments that decide quality: first article, tooling trials, and inspection gates during the run. You get the CMM report, material certs matched to heat numbers, photos, and a traceable lot ID with every shipment. If a dimension drifts mid run, we catch it on the floor and adjust the die that same shift, not at your dock three weeks later.
Honestly, none of those labels fit, and that's deliberate. We pick the right audited partner facility for your part, then our own team runs the whole file: DFM, tooling gates, PPAP, production tracking, inspection, and freight to your US dock. You hold one PO with one company, and when anything slips, the phone that rings is ours, not a factory's.
You talk to the same engineer who runs your parts, the person who already knows your drawing, your tolerances, and your dock date, so you never have to explain your own file to a stranger in a ticket queue. If something slips, you hear it from us first, the same day, with the countermeasure already moving. And if you ever feel it needs more weight, escalation goes straight to the founders, who still read every program file weekly.
We keep partner facilities under code names in day to day work, and we're upfront about why: it stops facilities being shopped around mid program and keeps the accountability sitting with us, where you can actually reach it. When a program genuinely needs the identity, a buyer audit for example, we disclose it under NDA and arrange the visit ourselves. Buyers have walked the floors their parts run on.
We're built for recurring production, not one off prototypes, and the honest threshold is repeatability rather than a magic number. If your part comes back every year, whether that's 5,000 pieces or 500,000, we're probably a fit, and machined parts can start smaller because there's no tooling to amortize. If you're not sure, send the drawing anyway and we'll tell you straight if the math doesn't work in your favor.
Yes, and we set it up per program because the economics have to work for your part, not just for us. Finished stock sits at a US warehouse and releases to your dock just in time, which turns an ocean crossing into a truck ride. You pay storage per pallet plus handling, and for most recurring programs the savings in safety stock and expedited freight cover that comfortably. We'll show you the math inside the quote.
Yes, and it happens more often than you'd think. If you own the tooling, we manage the transfer: condition check, shot count review, corrections if the die needs them, then requalification with a fresh first article and PPAP before a single production part ships. If the tooling is worn out, we quote a rebuild honestly against a transfer so you can compare the two paths. Either way, your current supply keeps running while the move happens.
We handle the whole lane. Standard terms are FOB from an Indian origin port or DAP to your dock, with DDP available on request and the markup disclosed up front, never buried. Because the network spans 22+ cities, we ship from the port closest to your partner facility: Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai, or Kolkata. The HS code is locked at quote, so the duty number you budget is the duty number you pay, and every shipment moves with the commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin filed before the container gates in. Preferred US inbound ports are Los Angeles, Long Beach, New York, Newark, and Chicago.
START HERE
Send one drawing. We will take it from there.
We do not sell a factory list. We are the supplier of record on your PO: the audits, tooling gates, inspections, freight, and customs paperwork all hang from our name, not yours. When anything slips, the phone that rings is ours.
One drawing and a target volume puts an engineer’s eyes on your part today. If the fit is wrong, we say so, and we say why.
- Feasibility read within 1 business day
- Full quote with landed cost, typically within 5 business days
- Your drawing stays confidential. NDA on request, signed the same day
- A named engineer answers you, with the founders one step behind
