The mower arrives as one machine, but its deck, spindles, blades, drive and rubber parts are made through different processes.

Boots on the ground, inside the farm parts plants.
At the pour. Not on a status call.
Our India team stands on the foundry floor where your housings, hubs and weights are poured, and walks the open items every week.
Hardness proven, not promised.
Every blade lot is hardness tested after the quench and the record travels in the quality file, so 48 to 52 HRC on the drawing is 48 to 52 HRC in the soil.
Measured before it moves.
Bearing bores, faces and threads are gauged against the drawing at the bench, with photographs shared before the lot moves to its next operation.

Aftermarket wear parts · the difference you cannot see
Boron steel wear parts look identical.1 dies in 40 hours of soil.
On the rack the 2 blades are twins, and your dealers cannot tell them apart either. The steel grade, the hardness band and the temper cycle decide whether the SKU carrying your brand runs 3 seasons or comes back as warranty claims, 1 star reviews and a returns pallet. Every aftermarket tiller blade, mower blade and disc VIA INDIGOS ships is 30MnB5 boron steel, hardness tested and certified per lot.
The difference never shows on the rack. It shows in the field, wearing your brand.

What farm equipmentbuyers ask beforemoving parts to India.
Every heat treated lot is hardness tested at the plant, and the certificate is filed in the quality file with photographs of the test before anything ships. The drawing states the band, usually 45 to 52 HRC on boron steel wear parts, and a lot outside it stays in India until the disposition is closed.
The schedule is counted back from your shelf date inside the quote, covering tooling, production, inspection and the 32 to 38 day Nhava Sheva to Los Angeles or New York lane. The plant board is photographed every week against those dates, and a slip past 3 days escalates the same day rather than surfacing at the port.
Cast gearbox and spindle housings usually start between 250 and 1,000 pieces depending on the box size and tooling. Forged and formed wear parts such as tiller blades and discs usually start around 5,000 pieces per SKU. Mixed SKU containers are common in this category, and the exact minimum for your part is stated on the quote.
Yes, as unbranded aftermarket replacement parts made to your drawing, or reverse engineered from a sample you send. Fitment dimensions such as bolt circles, hitch categories and spline counts are held to the drawing, no OEM branding is applied, and you confirm the intellectual property position for your market before tooling starts.
The buyer owns the tool after the agreed milestone payments, typically split across the PO, the first shots and the approval. The tooling record carries its ID, photographs, drawings and plant location, and the tool moves or is held on your written instruction.
Part price, tooling, inspection, packaging, freight, duty and inland delivery are shown as separate lines with one total at your destination. On heavy iron and steel wear parts, freight can run 20 to 30 percent of part cost, so container fill is planned inside the quote instead of being discovered on the invoice.
Ask for the audit status of the plant, certificates you can verify yourself on IAF CertSearch, references from US buyers, and a paid sample run before the tool order. VIA INDIGOS shares all of this inside the RFQ pack under NDA, and third party inspection at the plant is welcome at any point.
It depends on the HTS classification of your part and the tariff measures in force on the entry date, which have moved several times in the last 2 years. The quote shows the duty line against the exact HTS code on the day of quoting, and it is confirmed again before the sailing so the landed number does not surprise you.
The quote lands in 5 working days. Parts that need tooling typically run 8 to 12 weeks for the tool, then samples, your approval, and the first production lot. With the 32 to 38 day ocean lane, a first container commonly lands 5 to 7 months after the first PO, and faster when the part runs on existing tooling.
Yes. First shots come off your production tooling for approval before any lot runs, and for parts on existing dies, samples ship from running production. Every sample set travels with a dimensional report and, on heat treated wear parts, the hardness result for the pieces in the box.
